Cerina's Day #3 and a half

So part of this challenge we've given each other is to hold each other accountable so that although we can come up with a million excuses why we can't do the workout or eat better, they all sound plausible to me, I know that they won't work with Natasha and I will be letting her down by not holding up my end of the bargain! So yesterday, when I made a semi-conscious decision not to do my workout, I didn't call Tash to have her pep-talk me back into it, I tried to avoid owning up to my decision, until this morning, when I got on our blog and see that she DID her workout and is eating healthy and that immediately got me off the couch and I just did yesterdays workout this morning. I also plan on doing todays workout later this evening...try to give close to 12 hours between them if I can, then I'll be back on track. But I will remember the guilt I felt by skipping one workout early into the challenge and remember how fast it is just to do it and have it done and how much better I'll feel afterwards! So there, I owned up to my slacker-ness even though I had contemplated fibbing. This wouldn't work it we weren't honest with each other. Hell I could be eating bon bons all day in my housecoat and making up all these healthy meals and snacks I ate, and lied about all the wonderful physical activity....oh wait someone already did that....ever hear Kimkim LOL! Anyways, honesty, 100% is our policy so I'm sorry I disappointed you Tash, I promise to be better!

So the boy and I went to a family dinner last night, and my husband said it would be seafood, which I eat so I thought I would be able to eat rather healthfully, but unfortunately it was chicken and steak, both of which I do not eat. So I instead filled up on mashed potatoes, squash, applesauce and baby carrots. I also ashamingly had a couple wheat rolls and a piece of birthday cake. IT was all very good but soo not diet friendly. On the positive side, I made a yummy italian vegetable soup with a little bit of low-carb elbow pasta in it! Soup is good, and I can make healthy soups really easily! So that will be my lunch today. My breakfasts are always good, scrambled eggs with spinach, mushrooms & goat cheese yesterday, something similar today I'm sure. I WILL get on track with the diet, I WILL! I'm throwing out the rest of the cupcakes today!

I'm pretty sore and everything is tight, proof that these workouts are really workouts, but I knew that anyways! I'm using 5lb dumbbells for the sculpting part and I think I need to get 8lbs for the biceps because those were pretty easy, and maybe some of the rows, though Mr. Horton has different names for them.

Well thats my post for day 3.5...I know that if at the end of this first week I haven't lost anything, its because of my diet, not the workouts.....maybe once my body starts adjusting and being less sore, I'll start my couch to 5k, I've always wanted to be a runner (or even jogger, I'm okay with that!) I just have a picture in my head of these healthy, motivated, skinny women who are always runners! Thats me, ON THE INSIDE, and soon to be on the OUTSIDE! I'll be posting more later! TTFN!
