I just got home at a little after 9:30. I had to work and then pick up my kid, put him to bed, get dressed and do my workout at almost 10pm...AND I DID IT! I feel so proud of myself...the workout was good, but my will to get it done is what really is cool!
Today was a good day for me and bad day for my diet....I made cupcakes... Baking delicious sweet yummies is one of my favorite things to do as is eating them...probably a major cause of my current physical crisis. I really, honestly, truly thought that I would be able to bake and frost without nibbling...even licking my fingers. Tonight was one large step towards having that much self-control but it happened about 7 hours too late (and close to 3 cupcakes and 1 cup of frosting too late unfortunately). I vow to be better tomorrow...and not eat even one! I did start off well with an egg white scramble with mushrooms....then I had more soup at lunch....thats pretty much the end of anything even remotely healthy entered my mouth. Again...better tomorrow.
Todays video was Sculpt 1-2, a good workout...my muscles are still shaking. Does anyone here hate push-ups...I do, I do. I hate them with every inch of flabby arm I have! They are hard! HARD! and I don't think I will ever be able to do a regular, well formed push-up EVER! But I love lifting weights...so aside from the push-ups, the rest of the video is really fun. My only complaint is there is not enough stretching, nor does each stretch last long enough. Believe it or not, I spent a few brief months as a personal trainer, and stretching is VERY important...so if you are doing these videos...make sure to take some additional time at the end of each one and stretch it all out!
Thanks Tash for being my conscience to get this workout done...I think this relationship is going to work very well! I'm tired now...until tomorrow!
