Cerina's Day 5&6...

Yes, I skipped the days that I skipped my workout...I want the full 90 days in to really test this product out! On the scale today I was 191.2lbs....thats a 3.4lb loss from when I started this program last Tuesday and I had only worked out 4 times!!! It certainly wasn't my diet because I did not eat well at all...cupcakes, cookies, candies and pasta! BAD BAD BAD! But right now I'm enjoying a delicious protein smoothie for my breakfast, I'm going to get back on track diet wise...wouldn't it be cool if I lost 10lbs total by my Girls Shopping weekend next weekend!! I think I'll make that my goal! 10lbs in 2.5 weeks is completely reasonable, considering when I'm there, I probably won't bring my video, but I will go out for a jog. Its about time for me to start working on my Couch to 5k, as soon as these cold symptoms go away....I now think I have fluid in my ear, which leads to an ear infection, that would suck!

So I went shopping yesterday. It was supposed to be window shopping but I really DID need some sweaters and at least one pair of nice pants because I actually have a job that requires me to look nice and most of my sweaters, that fit right now that is, were bought of the clearance rack at Reny's or Old Navy. Though they've worn fairly well, they are now pilly or shrunk beyond the point of comfort, leaving me to have a violent breakdown every time I have to look for something nice to wear. So I hit the Gap and found a great sweater style on clearance, v-neck, longer cut, with cute little buttons on the cuff, so I bought 4 of them, white, black, grey and a nice pretty pink. Of course I also have been in need of a nice brown sweater and found a cardigan that doesn't pull at the buttons, which most cardigans do, giving me that "stuffed my shirt with a pillow" look that I'm not very fond of. I also found a pair of trouser jeans that fit me great, in a size 14 none-the-less...I have been at that awkward "14's are a tad too tight in the gut, but 16's look sloppy" size. I'm glad to be out of it, and even more looking forward to the "12's look hot" size! LOL Its been 6 years since I've fit into 10's, though if I reach my goal of 145, that is completely possible, but I dare not dream.

Anywho, I'm pretty happy with my shopping results. I've decided to only buy basics from now on and only worry about cute trendy articles of clothing when I have someplace even remotely trendy to go to, it doesn't happen often. Plus I'm older now, being 30, and a mom, so simple and classy is my new motto!

In all honesty, I just finished both workouts...I did them back to back because yesterday, i went to Freeport instead of working out but I wanted to stay caught up. The cardio one is getting harder, because I think I'm working it harder, thats good, I'm sufficiently sweaty and smelly after working out for just over 50 minutes...but I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow...

Well miss tasha-renee...I'll be in touch, you think 30% is bad, whats the percentage that means MORBIDLY OBESE..yup, thats where I am! XO

Day 8

Yay its day 8!!! I worked my butt off for 2 hours at the gym this morning! I know I am supposed to be documenting the p90x program so please forgive me.
I did 40 minutes on the elipcical today at speeds even Richard Petty could not keep up with. I could not believe how badly it made me huff and puff! 400 calories baby!! BURN BABY BURN!
I additionally ran for 20 minutes doing the program Cerina told me about from couch to 5k. Walking for a minute running for 40 seconds. It is frikin hard!!!!
I did P90x abs tonight and still can't believe how great this workout is. Such a killer ab workout.
I love it!! I finally got a tape measurer and will measure tonight!!
Yeah can't wait to see my results--NOT!!!

Day 6 HOORAY!!!

Giddy Frikin up I feel alive again. "It's alive....It's alive!!"
I actually awoke this morning and did not complain for being up at the butt crack of dawn watching Barney soon followed by my son's agitating temper tantrum.
Seriously WTF? A year of terrible two's? I so need a nanny!!
Anyways, I went to the gym this morning and did 30 minutes of eliptical and 2 miles on the treadmill one minute walking 40 seconds running for 20 minutes.
I understand this is not P90X, however, it is better than not excercising at all.
Jackson is giving me a run for my money at night, taking up to an hour and a half to fall asleep and I am drained by nine and quite honestly don't want to "Bring Anything".
I had every intention to do the workout but just did not.
Come on Natasha GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!

Day Five--am I still alive

HOLY HELL I FEEL LIKE A@S!!!
Perhaps I will start oinking soon only to reveal what I fear most....H1N1!!
Dear God NO!!!!! Please. Is this some sort of punishment for not excercising yesterday? I swear I did not have one lick of candy. An anomoly for me for as we all know I am addicted to sugar more so than a crack addict is addicted to crack!
I really hope I start to feel better because this is more tortureous than excercising.
Have not really eaten at all today my wieght is already down to 139.7!!

Day 4 and 5

I have just been released from jail and did not excercise on day 4 or 5!!
I have no excuse at all because I let life get in the way on day 4. This crazy psychotic person, to whom I feel obligated to address as my step mother, pissed me off so badly that I chose to leave my home and not excercise. I know that it was the wrong thing to do but such is life.
I however, ATE SO GREAT and did not drown my sorrows in a glass of wine....

Cerina's Day #7 - Sort of...

Well I just finished my sculpting video...I so like that better than the cardio one! Not that the cardio is hard, actually its rather boring and monotonous...and I enjoy lifting weights. So the past 2 days resulted in no workouts for me, I've got sick and tired...really, I was sick, so I was tired and achy. But I did think about doing them...its the thought that counts right! LOL I'm still not 100%, my throat is pretty swollen and I've still got that weird internal achy-ness, but I had enough energy to motivate and do the workout. So I guess technically I'm only on Day 4, because that is how many workouts I've done... I just bought a nice calendar for me and my husband to coincide our schedules on, and I'm also using it to mark of my days of progress on this 90 day challenge...always a useful tool for me. Also, today is the day I will start tracking EVERYTHING I eat! I should have started last week, I probably would have progressed more as well as been more motivated. I haven't weighed myself today, I'll wait till tomorrow because it will actually be a week since we started this mission....lets hope we can get back on board with ferver! I know Tash wasn't feeling good at all the other day when I talked to her...so maybe I'll give her a call now!

Uh oh....falling off already!

So its Day #5, are we still with it? I am still with it....actually I weighed myself this morning and I'm down 3lbs!!! What??!! I haven't been very good about my eating, so it must be that the workouts are kicking my metabolism into gear! Granted I'm quite overweight and have a long weigh (ha ha, that was totally an accident but I'm leaving it) to go, but I'm excited about this loss, even if in 3 more days, the end of our first week, it hasn't changed, 3lbs is GOOD! At this rate, by the end of 90 days I would be down about 40lbs! Thats awesome! It motivates me!

So I promise you'll hear from me tomorrow...I'm headed to do my workout!
